Ottaway Carnival - Wednesday through Saturday at the Raymond Frye Complex Parking Lot, 320 North Jefferson, $25.00 wristband special every night.  Carnival opens each evening @ 6 pm

Security State Bank Kansas Wheat (Festival) Penny Search - SSB will scatter pennies at various Wheat Festival locations. There will be several specially marked pennies that can be traded in at SSB for $50.00!

Panhandle Railroad Museum--425 East Harvey, Open 10am-4pm.Tuesday--Saturday.  Free Admission. Donations accepted.

Food Vendors – 7th street East and West of Washington each day.  Open Thursday, July 13 – Saturday, July 15 from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.,

31st Annual Kansas Wheat Festival Medallion Hunt – Register your 2017 Kansas Wheat Festival Button. Medallion hunters must register their button numbers in person. Rules will be provided at time of registration. Prize: $1000 with a registered button or $100 if button has not been registered. (Sponsored by Panhandle Federal Credit Union and Sumner NewsCow)

Kids Coloring Contest. Ages 3 -12. Starting July 5th pick up coloring pages at the Wellington Senior Center, 308 S. Washington. Return to Wellington Senior Center, July 11th by Noon. (Sponsored by Friends for Charity)

43rd Annual Convention Glass Show & Sale - National Depression Glass Association, Inc- Saturday, July 15th, 10 am - 5 pm, Sunday, July 16th from 11 am - 4  pm at the Wellington High School, 1700 E. 16th. Admission is $8 (Good Both Days).  All American Made Glass. 32 National Dealers, Educational Seminars & Displays, Glass Identification, Live & Silent Actions, Hourly Door Prize Drawings. www.NDGA.net. 

Thurs. night at 5:30 pm at the Knights building we will have a Hamburger/Hot Dog cook out with tickets costing $13.00 each.

Saturday from 10-5 our Show/Sale with seminars and exhibits throughout the day at the High School.  Admission $8.00 good both days.

Saturday from 5:30pm at the Knights building we will have our Banquet with tickets costing $20.00 each.  The Live Auction of wonderful and special items of glass will be held immediately following the banquet.  This auction is open to the public and will start somewhere around 7:30pm.

Sunday from 11-4 our Show/Sale with seminars and exhibits throughout the day at the High School.  Admission $8.00

Wellington High School BPA is hosting a 50/50 raffle and selling tickets Thursday July 13th, Friday July 14th  and Saturday July 15th between 7 pm -10 pm.  Drawing will be held nightly at 10 pm on the main stage 200 blk N. Washington.  Tickets are as follows: $1=1 ticket, $5=6 tickets, $10=12 tickets, $20=25 tickets.  BPA members will have on matching tshirts and set up a table infront of the Memorial Auditorium.

10:00 am - 2:00 pm  3 Gun Cowpoke - Trigger Guard Range  313 N Meridian, Wellington KS 67152 Match sign in will begin at 9:00am with the safety briefing and match starting at 10am Entry fee $25. Address for the Trigger Guard is 313 North Meridian Road. Directions as follows:  From McDonald's on east hwy 160, go north on Boundry Road 2 miles to 30th.  Turn right on 30th for approx. 1/8 mile to Meridian, turn left on Meridian to the range.  Signs are posted.
